Founder and head coach of JGC, Ilse is a former Protea gymnast and Olympic coach with over 30 years of experience. Her passion and dedication have shaped JGC into the thriving gymnastics
powerhouse it is today.

Head of tumbling and co-owner at JGC, Leeland specializes in bar and vault. Having coached at both the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, he brings
elite experience, expertise, and passion to developing gymnasts at all levels.

Part of the JGC family since 2002, Amina started as a gymnast and became a junior assistant coach in
2005. With two decades of dedication, knowledge, and heart, she continues to inspire and develop young gymnasts.

Senior coach and internationally qualified judge Anke, brings 23 years of experience to JGC. Known for her calm confidence and fresh ideas, she has
played a key role in the club’s success locally and internationally.
Caitlin began gymnastics at 6 through a JGC outreach program and rose to high-performance level. She started coaching at 18 and now shares her passion, purpose, and experience, inspiring gymnasts across all levels with dedication and care.

Ceylonia brings sparkle, warmth, and humour to every class. A qualified coach and judge with a background in graphic design and acting, she is
passionate about helping children develop confidence, skills, and a love for gymnastics.

Cyendra began Cyendra began gymnastics at age 5 and started coaching in 2023. Known for her patient and supportive approach, she brings creativity and
encouragement to every gymnast, helping them understand, improve, and develop a love for the sport.

Ethan, a MAG (Men’s Artistic Gymnastics) specialist, began gymnastics at age 9 and started
coaching at 16. With nearly three years at JGC, he is passionate about helping gymnasts develop strong foundations, skills, and a love for the sport.

Jadene joined JGC at age 8 and now coaches with experience, positivity, and passion. Working across all levels, she motivates gymnasts, helping them
develop skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for the sport.

Jordan is the newest addition to the JGC coaching team. Though new to gymnastics, her enthusiasm, quick learning, and genuine love for working with children make her a valued coach, inspiring young gymnasts with energy and care.

Leigh-Ann transitioned from a business career to gymnastics coaching, inspired by her daughter’s
passion. She now helps gymnasts thrive physically and mentally, bringing dedication, support, and encouragement to every athlete she works with at JGC.

Suzanne, a FIG Level 3 coach with 14 years of experience, leads Level 1–3 classes at JGC. Known for her firm-but-kind approach and focus on strong
foundations, she helps beginner gymnasts develop skills, confidence, and love for the sport.

Tyde began gymnastics in 2013 and joined JGC in 2024. Now both a coach and athlete, she is dedicated to helping gymnasts grow in confidence, skill, and joy, sharing her passion and positivity at every level.
Starting gymnastics at 4, Zelmé placed 2nd allaround at Nationals, with gold on bar and floor. With 3 years of coaching experience, she supports preschoolers to competitive athletes with calm passion and eagerness to grow.
Naveen began gymnastics at 7 and rose to become a Tokyo Olympian, 2× Commonwealth Games athlete, 5× World Championship competitor, and 2025 SA National Champion. Now also a coach, she inspires young gymnasts with passion and experience.

With over 25 years of gymnastics coaching, William is a GSL coach and Level 1 MAG judge. Coaching boys and girls across levels 4–9, he was named
Central Gauteng Coach of the Year 2024, bringing expertise, skill, and dedication.

Kaede, from Westbury, has four years of coaching experience, starting at Golden Lions before joining JGC. Eager to keep learning, Kaede brings kindness, dedication, and a love for working with children, always striving to make a positive impact.

Garcelle, a Level 1 coach and JGC’s official choreographer, brings natural rhythm and dance expertise to the team. Also an active gymnast, she
combines her skills and creativity to support athletes in both performance and technical development.

Surrounded by gymnastics from childhood, Sam has coached since 14, later opening her own club. Now an artistic coach, Level 4 Artistic Judge, and Level 3 Tumbling Judge, she combines passion, psychology, and experience to inspire gymnasts’ growth.

Linsay is both an assistant coach and active gymnast at JGC. Known for her kindness and friendly nature, she supports gymnasts with enthusiasm and care, bringing positive energy to every class while continuing to grow in the sport.

Alla, one of Namibia’s top gymnasts, recently joined JGC as both an international athlete and assistant coach. Still active in training, she brings
elite experience, dedication, and enthusiasm, inspiring gymnasts while contributing her skills to the JGC family.
